Moths caught on the night of the 22nd and 23rd August 2014

totalled 16 of 5 different species in my Back Garden in Howdon

They were as follows:

            

1913	Ennomos alniaria	Canary-shouldered Thorn	1
2107	Noctua pronuba	Large Yellow Underwing	11
2109	Noctua comes	Lesser Yellow Underwing	2
2134	Xestia xanthographa	Square-spot Rustic	1
2154	Mamestra brassicae	Cabbage Moth	1

Here are pictures of a few of them although the Canary-shouldered Thorn was

a new species for the garden and so photogenic that I have put in 2 photos
